  • *This position does include some security patrols within the property to ensure property is secure.**

  • Previous front desk experience is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Check-in/check-out guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established requirements.
  • Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
  • Provides information to guest/visitor inquiries and coordinates all guest requests for special arrangements or services, courteously and efficiently.
  • Escorts VIPs to assigned guest rooms, informing guests of hotel services, features and room amenities.
  • Attends to immediate needs of VIPs upon arrival and follow through attention throughout stay.
  • Provides prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all incoming calls and assistance for outgoing calls.
  • Also plays an integral part in assisting with emergencies, (fire, medical, power/system failure) by contacting the designated personnel for immediate assistance.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
  • Use equipment only as intended. Anticipate guests" needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of hotel features/services, rates, packages/promotions, and daily counts.
  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
  • Keep bank secure at all times.
  • Meet with Supervisor to review daily assignments and priorities.
  • Meet with departing Front Desk Agent to review business status and follow up items.
  • Access all functions of computer system. Set up work station with necessary supplies.
  • Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
  • Promote positive guest relations to all individuals approaching the Front Desk.
  • Process all guest check-ins.
  • Assign guest room.

  • Must be a service minded individual with a positive attitude who truly enjoys helping others.
  • Must be quick on their feet and adept at handling stressful situations seamlessly.
  • Must be computer literate. Adept at handling stressful situations seamlessly.
  • Hospitality background preferred.
  • Knowledge of local area events and attractions preferred.
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record. Must be dependable and punctual at all times. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work at WaterColor and WaterSound resorts.
